Our Sweet Lulu is 9 months old!! I am realize its been a few months since I posted an update, so I'll try to catch you up on all that Lucy is doing.
Weight: Doing the hold her and stand on my bathroom scale method - about 13lbs.
-Eating lots of table food and still doing cereal with squeeze baby food when I'm in a hurry or when we are traveling. So far she will eat anything! Loves eggs, blueberries, rice, peas and strawberries.
- LOVES to laugh! We call it the polite laugh - like you would politely chuckle at someone whose joke you don't understand. She is so interactive, especially with the girls. I love watching them together.
-Love to read books. Ok, maybe she just likes to play with the books, but gets very excited to sit in the rocking chair because she knows its book time.
-eyes are still blue - I am confident they are going to stay blue! Yay!
-When we got back from Christmas break, we stopped swaddling her. She would roll over in the swaddle, which was not good.
-Rolling all over, but still not crawling. Totally ok with that. She's just like Mya!
-Tolerates her exersaucer, but would much rather be held or rolling around on the floor.
-Eating schedule: still wake up around 7:30, although went through a short time of waking up at 6 or 6:30. That was not tolerated well.
11:30 or 12:00
3:30 or 4:00
8:00 or 8:30
-Sleeps for 11-12 hours
-No longer crying when she goes down for nap or bedtime. Maybe a minute or so here and there, but mostly just lays down and goes to sleep.
-Likes to hold her paci and play with it.
-Size 3 diapers, probably going to go to 4 soon.
-Size 3-6 months clothes, but I put her in some 9 month. They are too big, but they are what I have for winter clothes and they will work for the next few weeks of winter.
-still likes traveling in the Ergo.
-Her hair is so long a binder or bow is not really optional anymore.
-Is still pretty flexible with her schedule. Occasionally though, she lets us know if the schedule gets out of hand and she gets really tired.
-favorite toys are random objects like bowls or spoons. She is already constantly reaching for the remote and my phone. Crazy!
-sweet, sweet girl!!! Seriously, the happiest baby 99% of the time!
A few weeks ago, I had mastitis (again!) and she had a little cold. Poor thing kept me company...
Love our sweet Lulu!
