Today the girls and I are on the road again! This time we are headed to Birmingham to visit my dear friend Krista...or as Addison says, "nurse Krista." Thankfully it is a pretty short drive, just over 2 hours. Addison is definitely getting used to having so many people and places to see! We have been going non-stop for the past 5 weeks visiting friends and family. Once things return to normal and it is just our family in New York, Addison will go through social withdrawals I'm sure!
I am so glad that Chad was able to come back from New York last week and spend time with us! We were able to go visit the Georgia Aquarium while he was here (pics coming soon!) and we went to our favorite restaurant - The Melting Pot! No kids of course that night! We did see a lady bring in a little boy about 2 years old. If you've ever been to the Melting Pot, I'm sure you understand how surprised we were to see kids there! At least with my child a hot pot on the table filled with hot cheese, broth or chocolate would spell disaster!
Chad started work on Monday and is slowly getting acquainted with the Watertown area. He is also learning how to grocery shop and fix his own dinner. Through no fault of his own, he's never really had to do that. I have been so proud to see him choosing to eat in rather than eating out all the time...even if he does just have a microwave right now. :)
Pictures of our Aquarium visit coming soon!
